Treasure Island Reimagined: Jane Hawkins and the Pirate's Gold Kansas City Theatre reviews
Love me some Rockin Sexy Rod
- I've been over to just a couple of times a concert in a few years, Sexy, can't say no!
- Still got it, charisma, connection to the guys with gorgeous back up singers, and the audience doesn't leave out!
- Would like to suggest a few new "old" songs, always waiting for "Every Picture Tells A Story", never hear it. Also, maybe time to let the "Proud Mary" song take a rest, overdone when hearing every concert. But really, we would like more Rod!
- Named my dog "Maggie Mae" 18 1/2 years ago, and she is still alive today, and so is also "Forever Young". Love ya Rod, Only concert I've been to over 10 times in just a couple of years!
U2 & the BEP's, it couldn't get any better!
The Black Eyed Peas kicked off the evening with a fantastic performance. Their set was incredible, and they had the entire crowd engaged. The BEP's are truly impressive, and I thoroughly enjoyed their show. It's a shame they didn't have more time on stage, but they sound fantastic in a live setting.
Treasure Island Reimagined: Jane Hawkins and the Pirate's Gold closed the night with an outstanding performance. They are truly remarkable live, and if you weren't a U2 fan before, you certainly are now. U2's stage presence is phenomenal, and despite their fame, they remain humble and blessed. Their "space ship" stage setup is unlike anything I've ever seen.
I highly recommend this concert to everyone. The combination of U2 and the Black Eyed Peas was superb. It was definitely worth the money!
Syd shut it down!!
I had a great first time at TLA watching Treasure Island Reimagined: Jane Hawkins and the Pirate's Gold in concert. The concert was amazing, but the venue experience was lackluster. VIP tickets allowed me to get front row early! The bar didn’t open until 7, the time doors for general admission opened. I never had a chance to go to the bar, as I didn’t want to lose my spot. Opening the bar for early access folks would be a good idea so we can enjoy a drink or food during soundcheck. My second time seeing her, it was a great experience.
